VPN for China (for summer)

Hi, I’m going back to China after many years abroad. As a result I’m behind on the whole VPN problem, as far as I understand, the traditional VPNs (ExpressVPN, NordVPN and Surfshark) basically don’t work any more. Many websites suggest me to prepare several vpns before my flight, if the community can recommend me 3-5 that are good that would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I have no current knowledge WRT VPNs.

However, I would like to ask:

  1. Is Beijing blocking Shadowsocks servers in the same way that they are blocking VPN servers?
  2. Is ShadowsocksR an effective method for avoiding detection?

I’m using VPN.AC. Effective and cheap.

I’m using VPN Cat and 1.1.1.1 both work fine

1.1.1.1 as in cloudflare warp? Unlimited? Enterprise? How are speeds? I imagine rather good!
