It probably was asked before but I can I install a vpn on my eero system? Or should I use something g like firewalla ?
There is no native VPN support for eero. eero Plus includes Guardian VPN, but it’s installed on devices. Use a Firewalla, Tailscale, or something similar depending on the use case.
Depends on what you want to do with the VPN. Are you using the VPN to connect to a device inside your Eero network like a NAS or something else? Or are you just looking to use a VPN to connect have a secure connection out of a country?
If the former (connect to your network) then Eero doesn’t have a VPN product that will help. You would have to use something to get you there. If the latter, then the Guardian VPN will work and connects your remote device to one of Guardian’s VPN servers.
When I am in Mexico I have to use a vpn to connect to YouTube TV.
I have individual von installed on my firesticks and sometimes it’s a pain
If you just need a VPN to land in a different country (ie: VPN back to the US) then Guardian and Eero will work just fine.
