VPN Unlimited torrent server port closed

I know that VPN unlimited is far from being a great torrenting VPN (unlike mullvad) but I got 18 months 4 free and thought about playing around with it.
Using binhex rtorrent-VPN docker to at least try to eliminate potential ip leaks but I cannot get an open port in rutorrent (red explanation mark).
I did a manual wireguard set-up (location torrent France) in the VPNU-dashboard, grabbed the conf file and set the Listening port provided inside rtorrent.rc
Did I miss something to make it work?

Are you connected to one of their locations that allows torrenting?

They only allow torrents on specific connections.

Yes, I am. I chose Paris, as it is the closest from the 3 available. And when setting up the wireguard, I got a 51xxx listening port, which I thought has to be configured within rtorrent

I’m also using Paris, and successfully pull in multiple terabytes a month, and have for years.

So it can be done? Unfortunately I don’t really know how to assist in troubleshooting, but hopefully someone else will.

What setup are you using for it to work? Also docker Image/linux or windows with their client?

I’m using the Haugene/Transmission/OpenVPN docker container on Ubuntu.

I honestly feel like I got it put together with hopes and prayers, because I really didn’t understand quite what it was that I was doing. But eventually it worked, and has continued to do so.

Lucky you  I am curious, could you tell me which port you used that is open for your client?

sorry for dead thread… i am having same issue. Used to use it for a lot of data but did the latest update and now cannot torrent. I can web browse etc all fine on the canadian torrent portal, however any torrents do not work.
