I decided to give protonvpn a try, after i made my account and logged in to protonvpn there was a welcome screen but no free trial only the free version with limited features.

I switched 1 month ago to torguard , so if u are in market for vpn , skip this garbage , dcs happens often , netflix is so slow , i could animate the tv show faster , so far i couldnt be happier , best vpn ever(torguard).
on androidtv you cant even pick a server, so when it connects you to the blocked one, you won’t be able to watch content for example from Netflix. i tried this trial and its not worth any money if you want to use it on TV
Wow, that’s super lame! Right when I find a VPN that looks promising with a free trial so I could give it a try before risking my wallet, and they get rid of the 7-day trials the same day I go to sign-up and give it a try -__- Just my luck haha. Whoever was pathetic enough to abuse a free trial for a VPN will for sure go to hell, cause they just ruined this VPN for many like me who can’t afford to pay for VPN without first making sure it works well.

I wanted to try the full features and speed before committing, there’s at least 5 VPNs i have to try, can’t splurge money on all of them.

It sounds to me like if you can’t afford the $10, then the 7-day free trial wouldn’t be you giving it a try before you risk your wallet, as you say. It seems like you are wanting 7 days of a free service with no intentions of continuing the trial into a paid subscription. Many of us (myself included) are struggling right now, but I don’t see the incentive for a business to keep giving out a service they charge for just to have people cancel after the trial or setup multiple accounts and just trial hop. Sure, the 7-days was nice, but it’s pretty easy to see why they would stop.
