Please don’t start with, “if you are not paying for the product, you are the product”. I know all that. I need vpn just to unlock some sites and use it very rarely( not enough that i would pay for it). Just need it to turn on vpn use the site for like 2 minutes and turn off the vpn. And I don’t want to pay for it.

If you are aware of the caveats and free VPN business model, then the question is not “what’s the best”, but “what’s the least intrusive that won’t vacuum all personal info on its first launch”.
If you don’t care about this, then any option will do. Otherwise try and find an option that doesn’t require installing anything, but rather just allows using Windows built-in VPN client.

Yes, its for region locking. Torrent sites, some file hosting sites are locked in my country. I am a student and don’t to any work that requires privacy and security.
