WiFi speed on private relay vs VPN

How am I getting faster speed on router VPN than just running private relay?
Private relay on Safari 17.8 and VPN on Firefox 299.9.
iOS 17.4.1 . iPhone 15 Pro. WiFi Cable plan is 300.

I’d be hard all the time if I had those speeds … 25Mbps here

230Mbps on private relay on 300Mbps plan
Maybe something to do with the servers

I’m more amazed by your Upload Speed, the ratio is crazy :zany_face:

Now, here’s the thing: Private Relay, like VPNs, can be affected by the server you connect to. Even the specific VPN you choose can make a big difference in speed.

Private Relay works only in Safari
