Windscribe's ROBERT/Adblock is frustrating and confusing

As an Android user I highly recommend it. It has a few key features that Windscribe doesn’t. The ad/tracker blockers are available on their Github so you can see exactly what it does and how often they’re updated. It performs as well as Windscribe for my use cases. The app shows handshakes/key exchanges in the logs so you can see how it behaves on the network if you have issues. The app is far lighter than Windscribe’s, which is a personal preference thing. You might appreciate all of the extra protocols that Windscribe provides. If not, and using Wireguard is acceptable for you, then the lightweight app is easier on battery and resources. I get far fewer Captchas on Mullvad, though that’s subjective too. I get better speeds on Mullvad, but that may vary depending on your location and servers you use. Some people don’t like the minimalist apps it has or the over-simplicity of it, but the transparency of the ad/tracker blockers and the ability to actually monitor the behavior balances that out for me. I’d suggest trying it out, since it’s a flat rate monthly plan with no long-term committments.

I’ve never used their Linux client, though they do have one.
