Curious if this would work as I would like to read comics from Canada. Anyone else try it?
I tried everything but evidently gave up. Using an American VPN changed the “LEARN MORE” to a “TRY FREE ONE MONTH NOW” on their website, but that only got me so far. I needed to make an American Amazon account due to the Canadian one not letting me click on the try one month free. But even with an American Amazon account and VPN saying i’m in the US it kicked me off after putting in all my credit card info. I assume that this is due to my billing address being Canadian. Too bad as I feel like having a Canadian and European Comixology would be great for other people to affordably enjoy comics.
Your location is based on the payment instrument you use. If it’s a U.S. credit card then it will work. IP has nothing to do with it.
I haven’t used a VPN to sidestep any regional restrictions. But I do keep a VPN active on my phone while reading/downloading and it doesn’t seem to have any issues. (I’m in the U.S.)
Canadian here, I too feel like we’re missing out on the unlimited program for no reason. I sent the company a message last year and this was their response. “Nothing new to report, but we have been working hard to add more comics to Kindle Unlimited and Prime Reading (Which is available in many places with your Amazon Prime membership). All of the DC collections in comiXology Unlimited are available in Kindle Unlimited, for instance. We’ve helped improve the Kindle Comics reader too!”

Was thinking of emailing them also, but extremely doubt I’ll get a response saying they’re addressing this.
They don’t accept the prepaid visas for renewing subscriptions, it’s absolute ass, I’m in the same boat as these gents and it’s garbage…
