I’ve been using NordVPN to watch the olympics for free for a while now. I don’t turn it off when using youtube and netflix.
But now, it seems that Netflix and youtube has blocked the IP that I’m using. I tried turning the VPN off but it seems that my actual real IP has now been blocked too.
I can’t watch Netflix and Youtube anymore no matter what I do. I tried deleting, reinstalling, logging out. Nothing works. Please help me.
Delete cache, cookies (you’ll be logged out of your accounts so be careful), switch servers and use a different browser (or use incognito mode). Also try to see if Threat Protection is interfering, switch it off and test if maybe it was blocking something it wasn’t supposed to. NordVPN never game me issues with Netflix and even less with YouTube so make sure you do the above. Also, test for DNS or other kind of leaks.

Close Netflix/YouTube turn the VPN off or allow split tunneling and let them use your unprotected IP address.
Then open up the YouTube/Netflix apps. Worst case scenario yo may need to do it a couple of times. But make sure that you properly close them. Rather than just leaving them in the background.
When watching YouTube, does nord disables the adds?
Split tunneling is breaking the DNS with the latest version.

So try this: Revert to older version of nordvpn or try firefox webbrowser and mandate DNS to cloudflare or alike and activate nordvpn however you want and you’ll see it works.
YT premium does not matter in this case, since YT will still see that an Adblock is running and block you.
Check if the Threat protection or something similar is on on Nord
