About two years ago I downloaded ExpressVPN, and the app. Ultimately, I didn’t need it, so via the app I canceled my account / subscription.
Well the following month, I noticed the charge from them, so I went into the app and canceled it.
After two months I noticed I am still being changed monthly, so I went into the app and canceled it.
I hate to admit, but I have been doing this for two years at $12.99 a month.
Is anyone else having this issue?
I think this happens a lot. I’m not an express vpn user but I have came across these posts. The best way is to talk to a customer service person because apparently the cancel within the app is very dodgy
Cancel your credit card with the bank and get a new card.
The lesson here is to never use your credit card with a VPN provider.
Go to the Express VPN website. At the bottom right, select “chat with us”. They should be able to help you cancel your account.
I sent a email to request cancelation and refund at least for the last month. It worked.
