Okay, does that mean apps that have not been removed shared customers’ private data with the Government in order to be compliant?
Proton vpn is free with account. Not useful for downloads but for surfing
Trusted and top VPNs providers mainly Mullvad, IVPN, and ProtonVPN all have open-source clients hence they are available easily on F-Droid and on their websites/Github.
Its not working in PC as well. One of my favourite application
I think all andoird users should use rethinkdns with Proton wireguard VPN within. Everything is open source and available on F-Droid or github directly.
You get so much benefit from them like blocking all ads in all apps of your phone plus blocking internet access to specfic apps and having always on VPN connection to only specific apps like your browser etc
So India is becoming like china… they wanna spy on people and control the populace…
I was using it since the release and it was the best vpn ever with no bs.
Privacy is already a joke to a normal person in India. And it’s going to be an absolute joke for eveyone
Indian Goverment will do anything BUT look upon actual problems of the country like women’s safety, etc.
It was expected when the government introduced the law requiring VPN companies to share user data upon government request. Many companies moved their data centers away from India and provide services through virtual locations.
If you are concerned about privacy, Mullvad VPN (a little costly but privacy is top-notch) and Proton VPN (if you love watching Netflix shows available in other locations) are both good options.
I am using Nord (I moved from Proton), but next year I will switch back to Proton. Proton’s speed was better for me.
Fuck this stupid govt, who don’t care about data and privacy.
That VPN has not been available in the Play Store since October or late September.
