Does anyone know of a generic OpenVPN browser extension (for Firefox, Chrome, or Edge)? The extension from my VPN provider has very limited options and I need to configure something that they only allow changing via OpenVPN config files but I would like to stick with a browser extension for this if at all possible.
VPN browser extensions are no real VPNs. They are not building a VPN tunnel.
They are basically proxies and not as secure as a VPN tunnel.
These extensions are also not working with ovpn configs.
So no, there is no generic openvpn browser extension and won’t ever be
