Going to a trip to Mexico and wondered if the app works over there for streaming not downloading?
When I was on vacation out of the US I ended up using a VPN so I could still use VUDU. I didn’t even realize that it was limited by location till then.
I think it can only be used in the United States.

Other countries, like Mexico, would need to go through a VPN with a server in the U.S. It used to be that you could download your movies and watch them straight from your device, but Vudu disabled that a few years ago.
Other streaming companies, like Movies Anywhere, iTunes, Microsoft, either allow you to download for viewing offline or stream from your device - subject to their own requirements like being a U.S. citizen, etc.
Unlike Netflix, however, Vudu isn’t available to people all around the world but can only be streamed in the US and Mexico. So, in order to watch Vudu on vacation, you’ll need an IP address in one of those two countries.
Nah, I was able to use my movies anywhere without a vpn. I just watch movies that happened to work through that. Movies anywhere worked in Canada, Europe and Mexico.
what VPN did you use? I have Tunnelbear and it won’t work
