Same here. I can download 8% and then I’ll get connection error. Tried with wifi and without.
Yeah, this app + another game I play have been disconnecting me / force-closing nonstop lately. It’s getting really annoying because I can’t do anything about it and swapping to data on my phone instead of internet fixes nothing so I know it’s not me. Wish gumi would hop to it. I have a google pixel so idk if that’s what’s screwing me but I’ll be damned if I’m going to try getting a new phone just for this game.

dont know if this will help some of you guys out there, but i found a way to get mine to work again. try on data - if that did not work, then switch to wifi (make sure it is a fast wifi and not some starbucks/mcd wifi). if fast wifi is not an option, then get a vpn. works for me on pc via wifi and on mobile phone worked via vpn. hope it helps some, if not all.

Still can’t get in. Wifi did not help. Reinstalling the game doesn’t help. Refreshing my DNS did nothing. They really messed up bad this time.
I reinstalled and now it doesn’t even get past the gumi logo.
Working for me so far on my Galaxy s9, got 600mb to go on the download. Thank you so much! The VPN i used was Cloudfare 1.1.1.1 from the app store

Well, I was gonna spend some Euros on the game for the Halloween event. Thank you gumi, I instead ordered food and aint gonna spend a single euro on the game for the event!
All this VPN/DNS stuff makes me suspect that Gumi has very little control over what’s going on here. It’s like either their ISP or their Datacenter is having severe network issues with certain services outside the certain regions.

I had the exact same problem. I had to disconnect from WiFi and download the update on data. I know this isn’t an option for everyone, but this is the ONLY thing I could get to work. I completely uninstalled, deleted all data, and then re-downloaded the app and that didn’t help.
They’re making a good case for where semi-whales should not spend their money…
Edit: it worked okay after about ten minutes of pointless downloading, but seriously is this guaranteed to be a weekly thing for war of the visions?
