Has anyone else had the issue where Respondus just doesn't work off campus?

This wasn’t an issue for me until this quarter, but now when I try to load up Respondus at home it either doesn’t get past loading settings or it fails to connect to the server when I’m starting up the exam. I have a slight theory that this has to do with me downloading AnyNet VPN this quarter so I can use UCI services off campus, but that’s just a guess. Anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it?

Edit: I’ve tried connecting to the VPN and loading up Respondus but it still failed to connect to server

Uninstall and reinstall the Respondus lockdown browser (and maybe the VPN anyconnect as well?). If the issue persists after this, contact the UCI IT services for help.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Respondus which didn’t work but I haven’t tried the VPN cuz it was a pain to set up :sob: but seeing as I won’t be needing it soon I might as well give this a shot, thanks for the tip
