Lmao I know how to get Tik Tok back on iOS and it wasn’t that hard:

  1. Disable location services

  2. Airplane mode

  3. Change region on the app store to Mexico (use a random address/phone you find on maps)

  4. Use a VPN (I used Private Internet Access but a lot of people use Windscribe) and turn it on

  5. disable wifi

  6. restart phone.

  7. This was the crucial part, you need to unlock your phone after restart and immediately disable wifi before it connects to your network. Make sure the VPN app is running, then turn on wifi.

  8. Go to the app store and download tik tok, once it’s installed you’re fine to undo VPN/airplane mode/ set your region back.

the app is eerily different now. the whole vibe of “tiktok” is completely tainted and dark. my fyp is full of ppl mentioning the app “resetting” during the ban.

and in those hours of the “ban”, a whole bunch of weird shit was put in place. when the app got unbanned, ppls fyps were completely different. influencers they have never seen before was popping up on their fyp, only facebook and meta ads were popping up, and so many comments are being filtered. especially anti trump and elon content. heavily being censored and deleted.

talks of meta buying tiktok are in the air. if that is the case then deleting tiktok is a good idea.
