Issue installing Global VPN on Windows 11

I’m getting the following error when installing Global VPN on a fresh install of W11 that I’m running via Parallels on my Mac. Everything is up-to-date and licensed. Thoughts? TIA.

“unable to manage network component. The condition can be transient. It may be because you’re a member of the Network Configuration Operators group on this computer. Members of this group cannot install network filter driver.”

Well, is the user part of that group? Check in computer management under local users and groups

If i remember correctly the .MSI installer solved this issue for me.

Is this Windows on Arm b/c you have Apple Silicon? Or do you have an Intel CPU Mac? If the former, your problem may be because the SonicWall VPN adapter doesn’t work on Arm. (I don’t know this for sure, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that’s the case.)

Hi! I’m running into your exact issue - were you able to solve this? Thanks!

I’m not that experienced in the Windows ecosystem. I tried to search for “Network Configuration Operators” but couldn’t find anything close. Is it under “Computer Management “?

Plz elaborate. I’ve been a Mac user since 2004 lol!

sorry my fault that installer is only available for SSLVPN. You might want to see if you get the same error with an earlier version.

Great idea! Here’s hoping :crossed_fingers:
