I’ve reached out to LiveChat and via email. I’m getting troubleshooting that is the same as Chat GPT and one of them even suggested trying to connect in Incognito mode. As customer support seems futile, is there a help channel for Nord VPN?
If this only happens using Nord, don’t use Nord on that site. Clear your cookies and try again with Nord off. If you only went to the site with Nord on thy don’t know your real IP address. Unless it’s an account ban and not a site ban. There are also free vpns you can use to test it like the one the Opera browser has.

As a flashlight enthusiast, many of the sites I go to are *.com sites from companies based in China because that is where most enthusiast-grade lights are made. Since 1/20/25, a lot of them are blocked unless I disable my VPN.
Take that for what it’s worth, but it’s a stange coincidence at best.
It’s an educational institution. I suspect they updated their security practices with the new semester.
I’ve tried all connections as listed available and different servers in US. Obfuscated server outside the USA resulted in almost connecting but did not accept the 2FA code in the end.
