Mullvad VPN on macOS Big Sur

Mullvad VPN no longer supports macOS Big Sur; it only works on macOS Monterey or later. Do you guys have any ideas on how I could bypass this restriction?

Unless you need its native features use standalone apps like Wireguard, OpenVPN, or Shadowsocks. You can also update your mac unless there’s a specific reason you aren’t doing that

FYI Mozilla VPN is a white label reseller/rebrand of Mullvad, but uses its own VPN app. (Malwarebytes is another Mullvad reseller with its own apps.)

The Mozilla macOS app can be used on systems as old as Catalina - the version before Big Sur. Prices are $60/yr (or $10/month).

Well, here’s a problem. My MacBook Pro is at a certain age where the newest version of macOS it can support is Big Sur. This is a problem because, as I stated before, Mullvad requires macOS Monterey or higher (Ventura, Sonoma, et cetera.)

I would look into Open Core Legacy Patcher. It updates your unsupported Mac to a newer version. I am currently running my 2015 macbook pro on Sonoma and it is working wonders.

Use OCLP with Ventura

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013.) It has 16 gigabytes of memory and an Intel Core i5. What version of macOS is best suited for these specifications?

That should work great I believe. My 2015 Macbook Pro is Intel Core i5 and only 8gb of memory. Sonoma should work fine. r/OpenCoreLegacyPatcher should have all the answers though.
