Premium ProtonVPN keeps disconnecting on all Android devices, for two weeks now

It happens on three different android devices.

Deleted cache, deleted data, even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Issue remains the same.

I tried different locations in the world, it still happens.

What is going on? I am really thinking about going away for another VPN as it’s been a disaster to use my phone with ProtonVPN for the last month.

I’m having similar issues for a day now. On the new linux app and on android.

Android user here.

I’ve been connected for well over 48 hours on several occasions and never get any disconnections.

You need to contact support with the specifics of your device.

Is it happening on WiFi and mobile?

This just started happening with me last night. Been using the free version for months, now I have Unlimited account, but my Android mobile app keeps disconnecting. I’m contacting support about it

Have you tried contact support? I’ve had it running on my android device for 15 or 16 hours for that time period without issue.

Our Android Firestick has zero problems with Proton VPN. Our Philips 50" Android TV has zero problems with Proton VPN.

Running Proton VPN on Android 12, 13 and 14. 24/7 never any problems on Android! But if you switch between wifi and cell all the time just use Quick connect in android top Meny, some people with bad connection are doing that!

I’d contact support for sure.

We’ve had great success with Proton VPN for quite a long time now.

I’m really curious what particular technical issue you’ve come up against.

Wait for the mods to arrive to telll you ‘this is impossible!’

Both! I thought it was a WiFi issue but this bug happens even when I go outside. Really annoying.

What did they reply?

Same here. I did use the computer app for more than three years now, and mobile version for more than a year, and never faced with this bug before the last few weeks.

If that happens, I will do a screen record to show them!

How odd… Best to contact support with as much info as you can.

I uninstalled and reinstalled again…seemed to work :+1:

Have you already reached out to support?
