Proxy over VPN?

Is it possible to use a HTTP or SOCKS proxy in qBittorrent over a VPN? I do have my VPN binded to qBittorrent (Preferences->Advanced->Network Interface) to act as a VPN killswitch for qBittorrent. But I want to know if using a proxy in qBittorrent will be used inside my VPN like so were the proxy will not know my real IP and the VPN will encrypt the connection between the VPN server and my computer…

Computer ===[Encrypted Tunnel]=== VPN Server ---[Proxy Tunnel]--- Proxy Server

Or if by using a proxy in qBittorrent with a VPN will behave like this were the proxy connection is outside the VPN as a separate connection…

Computer ===[Encrypted Tunnel]=== VPN Server
Computer ---[Proxy Tunnel]--- Proxy Server

The reason for this is that my VPN does not support port forwarding and I want to find an alternative to using a VPN that supports port forwarding.

VPN and proxy are functionally the same, except VPN traffic is encrypted. Using both is redundant.

Would the proxy traffic go through the VPN or be a separate connection?

All outbound network traffic goes through the VPN interface while it’s active, unless you’re using some type of split tunneling.
