Yea I just tried to open the app and got the connection error even though my internet is fine.

Download OpenVPN and Japan VPN on google play, login DMM then quit VPN, works for me.

The dev team experiences DDos attacks from outside of japan, because of it they have blocked foreign IP’s for now. You can install a VPN and set it on Japan to bypass this.
Every request to game server returns error 403 (Forbidden ). I thought i was banned for no reason.
Rough translation suggests that they’re blocking non-Japan connections to fight DDoS attack coming from abroad. The only thing to do is to go in via Japan side of VPN.

You can log in with VPN, and stop using it to just by pass the
Authentication severs/Log in servers

I can’t connect either. I even have a Japanese VPN. I am able to login, but getting stuck here.
The servers are under DDos attack. The dev banned the foreign IP for the moment for defense

Nope. I try to use Japan VPN but can not login, seem like they are blocking all request due to server error.
VPN actually helped in my case. I assumed they blocked foreign connection due to recent attacks as well. It was enough to use it to start the game, once I got into HQ VPN wasn’t necessary any more.
Check if your VPN actually works, i. e. check your IP.
from the sound of it, you are on a PC
so google a Free VPN
Check if it has a Japanese IP address (after downloading and install)
connect to said Japanese IP Address
Log into the KC
if you don’t get a cat bomb or an error, hit start if you do. look for another Japanese IP
HIt Start
wait until you are in your office
Turn off VPN
Repeat when you disconnected or got booted
They are going to have the block up for a while now
