Depending on the device i get different results but at this point its on every device. The app just doesnt work any fixes??? I tried with vpn on a lot of different modded apks but the only thing i managed was to need a vpn for spotify to work which is not an option.
Same here. Only works when VPN is on but when it’s disabled songs disappear. Started happening today for me too…
I wish I could help but I’m having the same issue. I’m from Portugal and I used a VPN to change my location to Spain which has been working for a while. Today, I tried going on spotify and the songs just don’t play at all. Hopefully Spotify haven’t found a fix for those of us who use a VPN to use xmanager…
Same issue. The problem started today and I changed my location 3 times in different countries with mullvad vpn on brave browser through my phone and reinstalled spotify. It works when I’m connected to the vpn but when I turn it off all my songs disappear. I tried clearing the cache after logging and then turning off the vpn but it still doesn’t work.
Same here, I’m Portuguese. Spotify devs prolly added a Server side script that assesses your IP ADDRESS, meaning they probably lock server side payload returns as soon as your IP address matches one of the countries (Portugal or Greece) affected by their previous (and incredibly stupid) patch

I’m in the same boat as everyone else here. I used Proton VPN to change my location to the Netherlands every two weeks, and that used to work just fine. Now, songs only play with the VPN turned on. Huge bummer. Hopefully, someone will come up with a fix soon.

Having same issue. My temporary solution is to use 1.1.1.1 VPN and keep it on while using Spotify. I think this is a solution while waiting for a new patch to be released!
Same issue here. It worked fine a few hours ago and now I have to turn on VPN for the song to play
Same it looks like it’s an issue for everyone in greece and Portugal so far we had to do the vpn trick like every two weeks now you need to always have the vpn on if you want spotify to work not to mention it’s really inconvenient to use it on another device bc you need to install a vpn there too it’s just really annoying

Usualy a badly setup WiFi does that. Mobile data works?

I used Japan as location to get some exclusive songs and i had no problems until recently
I just used vpn twice a month to refresh the timer now nothing works

i was on data the whole time i did the tests
maybe it’s my ip thats banned.
The wifi also is on default settings for the third year now and i dont think that would cause the problems
