I have be questioning getting a VPN (Surfshark being my choice). I used to have surfshark and got my money back because I was not using it as much as I thought I would. I also used it for netflix in other countries and was curious if it has gotten better? When I was using it at the time I had the VPN it would always get detected. Are there any other benefits besides the ones one the site that would be a positive to having a VPN? Should I be using my VPN when im at home or is it something that I should use when I go out or while I am at school?

I really wish that Surfshark would only continue working on their VPN, and not all these extras. Surfshark Nexus is pretty cool but since then the VPN hasn’t changed much since you last had it.
Haven’t had any problem using it on my fire stick to get British Netflix.
It’s not really a VPN anymore, it’s an AV slash fake news advisory system lol
I use all the time on, and usually it’s okay, but sometimes not.
I started to use approximately one week ago, and honestly I am not 100% satisfied.
Sometimes I having issues to reach some sites, the content is blocked, I have to reconnect and try again and after a few try I could use. I don’t know that it is common with other vpn-providers?
Sometimes the internet speed slowing down…
Otherwise the price and the unrestricted device number is really convincing. But I am still not sure that after the 30 day period I won’t change another(better) vpn-provider, if the others don’t have this issues maybe worth the extra few bucks.
I bought SS for accessing Netflix libraries, but the Netflix crackdown is for all VPNs. So not SS’s fault. I then started sailing the high seas.
But it has improved in recent weeks servers like CAN, US, UK, POL, AUS, JP, and SP are working fine with netflix. I just rechecked before posting this.
I am also not a big fan of AV, but it doesn’t bother me anymore.
NO, do not get Surfshark unless you want to have a VPN that Windows Defender persists in flagging as malware even after following their directions to “cure” the problem. Something’s gone wrong with this company as of late. Until you read reports that its been sorted out I would not deal with them any further other than to seek a refund.
