This issue, to me, makes absolutely no sense.
My wife uses Cisco AnyConnect to work remotely. Software that she uses for work will not function while connected to Google Wifi despite the fact that the software connects to the server through the AnyConnect VPN Tunnel. I’ve tested it many times to verify and as soon as I take Google Wifi out of the equation the software snaps to life.
AnyConnect, Outlook, and the Intranet site all work as expected, but one software package will not.
I have a Bitdefender Box 2 that I am going to swap out and test with just for the hell of it.
Similar issue here. Work laptop connects via Cisco AnyConnect (via lan into back of Google wifi router). If I navigate to a page directly, no issues but our landing page that contains all of our applications always gives me an “empty response” error.
Let me be clear, I can connect to the VPN and all is well and my Outlook, and every other website loads just fine. It’s only the landing page that gives me the error. Wondering if something with Google’s DNS servers are to blame.
I replaced my Google WiFi with a Bitdefender Box 2 and my wife is able to connect to the AnyConnect VPN and has full use of all her software.
I guess, for us, this gives us our answer.
Finally figured it a few minutes ago. For me, in my adapter settings in Windows, IPv6 was enabled when it shouldn’t have been. Have no idea how it got enabled but turning it off fixed it for me. Glad you got yours figured out too.
