VPN solutions for russians

i am trying to help my Russian friend with vpns. i was sharing ExpressVPN with her, but apparently rus gov enforced changes that blocked most vpns. ExpressVPN have stated they’re trying to fix it, but it hasn’t happened yet.

do you know any vpns that work in Russia? i also tried OpenVPN but couldn’t get it to work for her. Any ideas appreciated!

Rent a server, run personal VPN.

Чуется мне - засланный казачок))) сейчас все впнки пораскрывает. А утром проснёшься и опа - впн не работает))))

I use AdGuard and Tor. Already blocked, but still work.

A couple people I know use vpnify. Nord and Windscribe don’t connect anymore.

Try Proton, apparently that one works well in Russia. Plus their entire suite of services is quite good, and they’re adding new features regularly.

ETA: The Stealth protocol in ProtonVPN is an interesting thing as well, it makes your VPN activity look like normal browsing. I can’t say as to how effective it is, though.

Bro, try rent a VPS, let your Russian friend ping it’s IP, if it works, then install a VPN on it by yourself.
V2fly is a good project. Google it.
Any questions is free to ask me.

I used to have SurfShark, then even the app stopped launching. Now I just don’t bother and go through Tor whenever I need to go around stuff.

Octohide VPN on mobile is pretty good

If we are talking about access to Facebook and Twitter, just an antizapret one is enough. Which is available in any app store of any browser.

I’ve been using lastseenvpn (look it up on telegram) for a month or so, no problems by far. windscribe connects sometimes but is very unstable and I wouldn’t rely on it(although more than a year passed since it was banned and still it can connect)

Antizapret. Google, fist site.

hello. i too would like some suggestions. i have a russian friend who would like to use VPN on her android phone. any suggestions? thanks.

Contact me in private messages if you need a working VPN

I’m using a hacked one because they don’t accept money from Russia and I’m lazy but you should probably rent a private server or something if you’re planning to do something even remotely dangerous.

Валить надо из Рашки, и vpn не нужен будет

Self hosted is the best. WireGuard or ovpn server could cost just 5 euros per month, f.e. in Hetzner. Also there you could chose rather OS or App which you want for new server, and you might choose WireGuard App (based on Ubuntu). Web gui, admin side, 20TB of traffic per month.

I currently use mullvadVPN

Tor is still working with bridges.

If I’m not mistaken, I thought VPN’s where banned in Russia, but there’s always ways around that.
