Watching TUDN for $5 a month

So clickbait-ish title, but I’m here to share how I watch all of my LigaMX games and all of my other games as well in case others are interested, I was given the okay from u/Man0nTheMoon915.

So watching Liga MX games if not near a Univision station in the US sucks and FUBO and sling charge $30 a month for some basic Latino packages that don’t have everything plus it’s a lot of money for not much that I’m getting. So this is how I watch Liga MX game in the Midwest USA

  1. Have a VPN that can connect to Mexico.I use Windscribe for a VPN. Cost for just one location (Mexico) and unlimited data is $2 per month or $24 per year

  2. Sign up to ViX+.

So ViX+ is a competing service to Netflix and provides many movies, shows, and live TV. Some of the Live tv channels are, Las Estrellas, Canal 5, Tlnovelas, Telemundo Internacional and TUDN. For the cost of $121 MXN pesos or about $6 USD. These channels I access via the VPN. They work great, clear HD and is super low cost while watching LigaMX games and some noticas when my parents want to know what’s happening back in Mexico. Also most NT games are played on TUDN or Canal 5 so almost guaranteed NT matches.

ViX+

  1. Marca Claro Youtube

Some games will be displayed on the youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/c/marcaclaro which does a great job of streaming the games for FREE on their channel but you must use a VPN as they only show these games for free in Mexico with full playbacks.

Edit: Most Latin American Countries can use this site to see games. Latin American VPN will work.

  1. Azteca 7.

https://www.tvazteca.com/azteca7/azteca-7-especiales/envivo would be the site to use with a VPN as well as the channel shows most Liga MX matches if not shown on TUDN or Canal 5. This site does go down sometimes when the NT plays but is still reliable and Free as well.

  1. Fanatiz (Optional)

https://www.fanatiz.com/es/

Now, what if you want to watch FOX sports or any other European games? well, this is the optional package as everything from 1 - 4 should be able to get you all the Liga MX games. This option is pricer but not by much. Regular price for this package is $9-$12 a month since they run promotions so it’s always in between that range and also provides a 7-Day week Trial. (Make sure to read) This all includes Fox Sports, Claro Sports, La Liga TV in Mexico but you can use this service in the USA as well! When using a US VPN or just regular internet if located in the USA you get the channels of bein sports channels, GOL TV eng/spa real Madrid tv, Brasileirao play, Tyc Sports, SevillaTV and onefootball. So I would say this is a great deal for everything plus interchangeable between USA servers and Mexico servers.

  1. Star+

VPN of course but it’s a $200 peso service or $10 USD for access to ESPN channels and all series A games as well included in this package!

Pro’s and Cons

ViX+:

Pro’s: Airplay works great and channels can be displayed on your TV from your iPhone, Andriod, FireStick, and from the website or laptop to your TV as long as you are using VPN.

Cons: Need a VPN, buffer on firestick and the website isn’t too bad, IOS and android never buffer or have the best buffer rate than firestick as I’ve never had my iPhone buffer a stream. Airplay is the best option

Marca Claro

Pro’s: Free and HD

Con’s: VPN needed, May need to use incognito mode to watch games from youtube channel if from the USA, besides that it’s a free option and good.

Azteca 7:

Pro’s: FREE and HD

Con’s: VPN needed, May downgrade in quality when NT is playing as too many people on the server may cause bandwidth issues for their server-side but it’s still a great source.

Fanatiz

Pro’s: VPN not needed for Europe games, UI is great, can pick favorite teams to display when games are, has European games and Fox sports. ALSO VOD PLAYBACK AND STATS

Con’s: VPN needed for FOX, $10 a month isn’t too bad but for LigaMX it seems high since only two channels show them being Fox Sports and Claro sports in Mexico but for European games it’s great.

Hope this helps some people figure out what they want to do and how they watch Liga MX.

Cost of 1 year of fubo tv latino package: $396 USD

Starter package yearly is: $777.84 USD

yearly cost = $396 to $777.84 USD

Cost of VPN and packages:

VPN (Windscribe 1 year):$24

ViX+ yearly cost: $72 USD

Yearly Cost= $96 USD

Yearly Cost including optional fanatiz:

Fanatiz yearly cost: $113.40 USD

Yearly cost w fanatiz= $185.39 USD

(which is why I say unless you want to watch some European games then it’s not worth the price but might as well throw it as an option in case someone does want to purchase it)

Hope this helps future people decide, thank you guys for reading, Obviously, you can always watch from SoccerStreams but sometimes I get tired of the constant buffering and going through 10 links to find a good decent stream so I was set to find an alternative, watch Liga MX however you can, cheers!

Edit: Tip, use https://www.livesoccertv.com/ to find which channels the games are on, you can scroll down to Mexico and all channels will be listed

Edit edit:

Big thanks to u/Koba-chan for the wonderful explanation here as to what teams go to which services if you’re wanting to watch a specific team!

ViX+ is for: America, Cruz Azul, Pumas, Chivas, Tigres, Atlas, Necaxa, Juárez, Toluca and Santos.

Azteca is for: Puebla, Chivas, Mazatlán, Juárez, Querétaro and Atlas. They usually have 1 to 2 games per week so expect to miss a lot of games with them.

Marca Claro is for: León and Pachuca.

You can also watch basically every Liga de Expansión game with them and some Bundesliga games too. Marca Claro and Azteca have these in their YouTube channels while Televisa shows some games in TUDN.

This sounds good if you don’t have cable. Thanks for the info

Definitely good resource for the subreddit to have on the about section and can redirect them to there or a pinned post how to watch liga mx. I remember a few posts about new people wanting to watch liga mx

it’s cool, I just watch games @ dymo’s house

fire. wish i could switch to this but i pay for fubo bc its my dad who mainly watches liga mx while i only watch america and mexico games. fubo is simpler for my dad to use

This should be pinned

This is great, I’ve always wanted to watch LIGA MX games on azteca but could never really get it to work and I’ve been lazy

Thx for the info. I’ve been meaning to cancel fubo because there’s a bunch of channels that I dont watch or need. All i want is TUDN lol

It works in many Latin American countries so you don’t specifically need a Mexican VPN, it could be one from Colombia or other countries

Using vpn can’t you also get cheap youtube premium and nextflix and etc? Never tried it but been wanting try youtube premium and in Argentina it turns out to be like $2 a month

Donde está la fila para mamarle la verga a u/GamersWant ?

Compra un firestick y ponle cloud tv 15 usd al mes con series peliculas ppv y canales en vivo

Just a heads up, Monterrey, San Luis and Tijuana home games are the only teams that you won’t be able to watch with the first three methods. Idk what Fanatiz is but Fox Sports has the rights for Rayados and Xolos so I guess that will have them.

For San Luis you need ESPN. Idk if ESPN Deportes in the US has their games but if you want Mexican ESPN you will need a VPN and the ESPN Play app. Afaik you also need a local cable provider for that service so it’s a little tricky.

Serious question. I live near the border, so I can get Televisa and TV Azteca over the air however I would like to purchase a Sky membership. Can I subscribe with a mexico address and then bring the equipment to USA? Anyone has done this?

I use and IP TV. Since some of my uncles are my account we pay around $12 a month and has English and PPV too. I’ll read this in full detail and if it’s not too complicated I’ll give it a shot.

Mods let’s pin this. Great info, thanks for your research

dumb question but does this include chivas games?

I did this before it’s actually not bad , you can watch some boxing fights that are PPV here for free .

Good shit!.I already use Windscribe VPN to watch games on Azteca 7 but never tried the blim.tv service. I’m gonna try and checkout blim.tv today.

This is mostly how my dad and I have been watching games, we got a vpn that connected to Mexico and watch the NT games on Azteca, to think this started cus we wanted to watch the canelo fight on Azteca. Glad this info is being spread around
