I bought a nord vpn a month a 2 ago and I actually made it work but only on pc ;( you just need to install rly old version
Proton is great but it’s on the block list in Russia, meaning the government is trying to ban its usage but with variable degrees of success. Sometimes it works flawlessly and sometimes I can’t connect at all. Most of the time it takes a very long time to connect and having to try a lot of different servers, but if it eventually connects it works fine.

How does that work? I heard OpenVPN and Wireguard are blocked in Russia.

the problem is she can’t even log in. She’s found some browser vpns that work but they’ve been too slow for stuff like video streaming
What prevents you from doing it? Sorry for my ignorance. I know there is a “great firewall”, but I am fuzzy on the details. It seems like there should be a way?
